Jabra Evolve3 85 & Evolve3 75

Jabra's latest Evolve3 headsets are set to arrive as the Danish brand's new answer to a working life that moves constantly between the office, home, cafés and airports. The company is launching two models at once - the over-ear Evolve3 85 and the on-ear Evolve3 75 - both designed to combine professional call quality with the comfort and visual polish more often associated with consumer headphones. Jabra describes them as the first genuinely universal headsets in its portfolio, built for work, entertainment and the growing number of workflows that now involve AI-driven tools. In that sense, the new Evolve3 line is clearly intended to address three of the trends shaping the modern workplace - rising expectations around audio quality, a stronger focus on design and the increasing role of AI in everyday communication and productivity.

One of the most significant changes compared with earlier Evolve models is the removal of the traditional microphone boom without giving up the level of voice pickup expected from professional communication products. Jabra's answer is ClearVoice, a system that combines a multi-microphone array with proprietary signal processing and a deep neural network trained on more than 60 million real spoken sentences. The aim is to analyse tone, modulation and vocal dynamics in real time so the headset can distinguish speech from surrounding noise with enough precision to keep calls clear and natural even in difficult acoustic conditions, all without a visible mic arm. Both models also use adaptive active noise cancellation that responds continuously to both the surrounding environment and the way the headset sits on the head. Jabra says the ANC remains active during calls as well as during music playback, which is particularly relevant in open-plan offices, public transport and other noisy shared spaces. The company also includes Enhanced Spatial Sound for more natural and less fatiguing calls, together with Sidetone so users can monitor their own voice more comfortably and avoid speaking too loudly in noisy environments.

The Evolve3 range is clearly intended for structured business environments as much as for individual users. In UC-certified versions, the headsets are designed to work with leading online meeting platforms and use secure Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity via a factory-paired USB adapter. For IT departments and larger organisations, Jabra Plus Management provides centralised device control, including remote firmware deployment and configuration. End users, meanwhile, can adjust sound settings, ANC behaviour and microphone options through the Jabra Plus mobile app, with a desktop version scheduled to arrive later in 2026. The broader message is obvious enough - these are not simply office headsets with a cosmetic redesign, but products intended to fit into a more software-defined and more mobile style of professional work.

The Evolve3 85 is the over-ear model, aimed primarily at users who need the highest degree of isolation and concentration in louder surroundings. Its larger earcups are designed for maximum immersion, while the breathable cushions are intended to maintain comfort through a full working day. Compared with the earlier Evolve2 85, Jabra says the new model is 35% slimmer and 23% lighter, which should make a real difference during long meetings and frequent travel. The folding structure and compact carrying case reinforce that portable, work-anywhere brief, while battery life is rated at up to 25 hours of talk time or 120 hours of music playback with ANC and busylight switched off.

The Evolve3 75 takes a slightly different approach. This is the lighter, more breathable on-ear version, designed for hybrid workers who regularly move between different locations and want more awareness of their surroundings. Jabra presents it as the more mobile and more relaxed option, with the same core feature set as the 85 but in a format that sits more lightly on the ears and feels less enclosing during long stretches of use. Battery life is rated at up to 22 hours of talk time or 110 hours of music playback with ANC and busylight turned off, and fast charging is available on both models, with up to 10 hours of use claimed from a short wired top-up.

A large part of the Evolve3 story is its readiness for AI-based workflows. Because the series is built around more precise speech capture, Jabra positions it as a practical tool not just for meetings but also for dictation, voice prompts, transcription and interaction with AI assistants. According to the company, the ClearVoice system achieves recognition of 96% of words across all tested environments and 99% in open-plan offices, figures intended to underline that these headsets are meant to function as reliable voice interfaces rather than simple listening devices. At the same time, Jabra is careful to frame them as everyday headphones too. Support for the LC3 codec and a more consumer-friendly tuning are meant to deliver cleaner, more balanced sound for music, podcasts and films, while HearThrough allows outside sound back in when needed, which is particularly useful in public spaces and while travelling. The minimalist design, offered in black and Warm Grey, also avoids the look of traditional corporate hardware and pushes the series closer to the contemporary lifestyle category.

Shared features across both models include the boomless ClearVoice microphone system, adaptive ANC, more natural call voicing through Spatial Sound, wireless charging support, replaceable batteries and ear cushions, and a broader sustainability brief based around recycled and bio-circular materials plus TCO generation 10 certification. Taken together, the Evolve3 85 and Evolve3 75 look like Jabra's attempt to redefine what a professional headset should be in 2026 - less visibly corporate, more adaptable and better suited to a world in which calls, media playback and AI interaction increasingly overlap. The Evolve3 85 officially launches at €569/$649, while the Evolve3 75 is priced at €399/$463. Early UK pricing appears to sit at around £495 for the Evolve3 85 and roughly £229-£249 for the Evolve3 75 depending on version and retailer. Warm Grey versions are scheduled to follow in selected markets from April 2026. Info and photos by Jabra.
