Noble Audio FoKus Prestige Encore

Noble Audio introduced a new flagship addition to its true wireless line with the FoKus Prestige Encore, a model that refines rather than reinvents the original Prestige concept. The new earphones are positioned as Noble's most advanced true wireless design to date, with greater detail, longer battery life, improved ergonomics and smarter personalisation, while preserving the lively, engaging character that made their predecessor popular with demanding listeners. The FoKus Prestige Encore is intended to bridge Noble's high-end in-ear know-how with the flexibility expected from modern wireless listening.

At the heart of the FoKus Prestige Encore is a new three-way hybrid driver system. An 8 mm dynamic driver is responsible for bass, tuned to deliver a deep yet controlled low end, while a pair of Knowles balanced armature drivers handle the midrange, focusing on clarity, texture and natural vocal reproduction. High frequencies are reproduced by a newly introduced 6 mm planar magnetic driver, selected to extend treble air, increase transient speed and reveal more microdetail. According to Noble, this combination widens the perceived soundstage, sharpens imaging and enhances timbral realism, with bass remaining authoritative but composed, mids retaining an articulate and lifelike quality, and treble gaining extra extension and openness without stridency. A newly designed triple-vented metal nozzle stabilises airflow and improves seal consistency, which in practice helps maintain low-frequency performance and reduces variation between different ear shapes and eartip choices.

Wireless performance is built around the Qualcomm QCC3091 platform and Bluetooth 5.4, with support for a wide range of current codecs including aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive, LDAC, AAC and SBC. This allows the FoKus Prestige Encore to offer high-resolution or even bit-perfect streaming where the source device and service support it, while TrueWireless Mirroring and multipoint pairing are included to keep connections stable and switching between devices straightforward. For calls and conferencing, dual-microphone cVc noise suppression is used to reduce environmental noise without excessively processing the natural tone of the wearer's voice, aiming to maintain intelligibility in both professional and casual use. Hybrid active noise cancelling and a HearThrough mode provide additional control over ambient sound, letting users either isolate themselves more effectively or remain aware of their surroundings when required.

Endurance has been increased compared with the previous generation. Each earpiece houses a 65 mAh cell, while the wireless charging case contains a 500 mAh battery, together providing up to 10 hours of playback with noise cancelling disabled or 7 hours with ANC active, and up to 35 hours in total including the case. A 10 minute quick charge is quoted as delivering around 2 hours of listening, which is intended to minimise downtime in day to day use. The earpiece housings and charging case are CNC machined entirely from solid wood, not just using a decorative veneer or top plate but full wooden construction. As a result every set displays its own wood grain pattern, so no two FoKus Prestige Encore units look exactly the same. Combined with a smaller, lighter geometry than before, the new design aims to offer both a premium finish and a more secure, low-fatigue fit over extended sessions.

On the software side, Noble continues its collaboration with Audiodo Personal Sound, as previously seen in models such as the Rex5 and Amadeus. The FoKus Prestige Encore offers refined per-ear calibration, running a one-time hearing test and then writing the resulting compensation curve directly into the earphones. Because the personalised frequency adjustments are stored on the device rather than in the app, the listener's profile follows them across all paired sources without further configuration. The Noble companion app adds another layer of control, providing access to custom EQ settings, touch control remapping, over-the-air firmware updates and a multilingual interface. Together these elements are intended to make the FoKus Prestige Encore adaptable to different tastes, systems and future software improvements.

Noble Audio is a specialist in-ear monitor manufacturer that has spent more than a decade at the high end of the market, producing both universal and custom designs for musicians, engineers and audiophiles. The FoKus Prestige Encore extends this background into the true wireless category, combining Noble's established approach to acoustic tuning and driver selection with modern connectivity, noise control and personalisation features in a compact, fully wireless form factor. The FoKus Prestige Encore will be available for $699/£649 / €749 via the company's website and selected retailers worldwide. Info and photos by Noble Audio.
