Marten's new Dexter series brings several ideas from the Swedish manufacturer's upper ranges into a more compact and comparatively accessible loudspeaker family. The line made its public debut at High End Vienna 2026 and consists of four models - Dexter Duo, Dexter Trio, Dexter Quartet and Dexter Quintet. All are designed and built at Marten's facility in Sweden, and all share the same core ingredients - a Marten pure diamond tweeter developed from work carried out during the Coltrane Supreme Extreme project, a new triple-layer M-Core cabinet construction, internal Jorma Duality wiring and a new bass loading system created specifically for the series.

Wired earbuds have become a small counter-trend in a market dominated by true wireless models. For some users, the appeal is simple - no battery, no pairing, no latency, no codec confusion and no fear that the product will become useless once the cells wear out. Sivga's M260 fits neatly into that space. It is a retro-inspired hi-fi earbud designed for music, commuting, gaming and everyday use, combining a classic open earbud shape with a modern detachable cable system and an optional USB-C version with its own DAC and microphone.

The return of physical media is no longer limited to vinyl. CDs are also finding a new audience, especially among younger listeners who want ownership, artwork, a tangible collection and a break from the endless scroll of streaming apps. Shanling's EC Play fits directly into that moment. It is a compact portable CD player designed not as a retro curiosity, but as a modern disc player with wired and wireless headphone support, USB DAC functionality and enough battery life to make portable CD listening feel practical again.

Wharfedale has introduced the Denton 1S, a new compact loudspeaker in its Heritage Series inspired by the original Denton 1 from 1974. Unlike the more traditional wood-veneered Denton models associated with the late 1960s and early 1970s, the Denton 1 was a forward-looking design with a molded white enclosure, rounded edges and an unusual coaxial driver. The new Denton 1S takes that idea as a starting point, but reworks it as a modern two-way speaker intended for contemporary rooms, flexible placement and much higher acoustic performance.

Schiit Audio has built a large part of its reputation around one deceptively difficult idea - making serious audio products at prices that still feel almost stubbornly reasonable. The Vestri takes that philosophy into the headphone DAC/amp dongle category, a segment crowded with small devices that often look similar, use similar chipsets and compete mostly on specification lists. Schiit is entering that space with its usual mixture of simplicity, engineering stubbornness and a few features that separate Vestri from the portable DAC/amp formula.

The compact disc may no longer dominate the music market, but it has never really disappeared from serious hi-fi systems. Revox is now responding to that renewed interest with the Studiomaster CD100, a compact high-end CD player designed primarily for the company's Studiomaster M500 and M300 systems, as well as integration with Revox Multiuser 3.0. The model is small by traditional hi-fi standards, measuring only 200 mm wide, but it is not a lightweight accessory. Revox presents it as a dedicated player developed specifically for CD playback, with plug-and-play system integration, a Burr-Brown DAC and both analog and digital outputs.

Noble Audio has introduced Lu Ban, a new statement hybrid in-ear monitor in its universal IEM lineup. The model combines a 10-mm wooden composite diaphragm dynamic driver with two newly developed Super-Magnetic planar drivers. The idea is not simply to add another multi-driver construction to Noble's catalog, but to combine natural diaphragm materials with a fast, technically capable magnetic driver system in a way that gives the earphones both physical weight and high-frequency precision. The name refers to Lu Ban, the legendary Chinese craftsman associated with precision, invention and mastery of materials. That reference is reflected both in the acoustic design and in the physical construction of the earphones.

Gold Note has introduced the HP-5.2, a new high-end headphone amplifier that joins the Italian manufacturer's Series 5.2 lineup. The model is aimed at listeners who want a serious desktop or system-based headphone amplifier, but also expect a level of flexibility that goes beyond a conventional analog amp. In typical Gold Note fashion, the HP-5.2 combines a technically ambitious circuit with a relatively compact chassis, a touchscreen interface and a set of sound-shaping tools designed to work in the analog domain rather than through digital signal processing.

We Are Rewind is a French audio brand focused on reviving cassette culture through modernized portable players and accessories. Its products combine analog nostalgia with contemporary usability, giving listeners a way to enjoy physical media while keeping practical features such as Bluetooth connectivity, rechargeable batteries and modern design refinements. Now We Are Rewind has launched Freddie, a new pair of wireless headphones inspired by the portable audio culture of the 1980s. Also known as EQ-002, the model has been designed to complement the company's WE-001 cassette players, but it can also be used with smartphones, tablets, computers and other Bluetooth sources. The idea is simple - a lightweight retro-style headphone that visually belongs next to a cassette player, but behaves like a modern everyday wireless model.

For Raidho, the X Series has always carried a slightly unusual task. It is the Danish manufacturer's more accessible loudspeaker line, but it still has to sound and feel like a Raidho - fast, open, highly resolved and built around the company's own driver technology. The new X2.8 takes that idea into a larger floorstanding format, giving the range a serious three-way model with deeper bass, greater dynamic scale and more of the physical authority expected from a full-size loudspeaker.
