The next edition of one of the biggest events in the electronics industry has been launched. IFA is the largest exhibition of consumer electronics in Europe and probably one of the two or three events of this scale in the world. The huge complex of Messe Berlin has been occupied by hundreds of companies producing almost everything, starting from accessories for mobile phones, and ending on giant TV's, refrigerators and complete home theater systems. Berlin turns into one big electronics store, but there are no sales because everything is fresh and new.
Many of the products presented in Berlin will be available soon, many companies will find their sales representatives in new countries and everyone is looking carefully at what the competition is doing.
Despite the presence of washing machines, dryers and other household appliances, for many years the main focus is captured on digital products - TV's, tablets, smartphones, laptops and all devices that use wireless home network. It is also a place for audio - headphones, docking stations, stereo and home theater systems. Many of the products presented in Berlin will be available soon, many companies will find their sales representatives in new countries and everyone is looking carefully at what the competition is doing. Since we were one of the first teams that appeared on the site, I have already prepared a photo story from IFA 2013, focusing of course on the audio equipment.
