JBL is refreshing its Live series with three new true wireless models designed to reflect the different ways people use in-ear and open-fit earbuds in everyday life. The Live Beam 4, Live Buds 4 and Live Flex 4 all follow the same general direction - Hi-Res Audio Wireless, True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0, JBL Spatial Sound, Bluetooth 6.0 and a new Smart Charging Case with a larger display. The differences between the three models are still significant, however, covering not only the shape of the earbuds, but also the type of fit, driver size, water and dust resistance, and battery life. As a result, the Live 4 series is not a set of three nearly identical products, but a small family of models aimed at users with different expectations - from those looking for maximum isolation, through fans of compact in-ear designs, to listeners who prefer a more open earbud construction.

Rega has added the Planar 6 RS Edition to its range - a new special version of one of the company's most important turntables. The British manufacturer has spent decades developing designs based on lightweight, rigid plinths, precise belt drive systems and tonearms of its own making, showing that the classic turntable form still has a great deal of potential. This time, Rega has taken the well-known Planar 6 and equipped it with solutions normally associated with higher models in its catalog. The result is a technically advanced turntable that should be ready for serious playback almost straight out of the box, without the immediate need to replace the cartridge, power supply or drive components. With the RB880 tonearm, Neo PSU MK2, Reference EBLT belt and Nd9 cartridge included, the Planar 6 RS Edition looks like a proposition for listeners who want to move to a higher level of analog playback without building the system through a sequence of expensive upgrades. Rega is offering a complete package in which technologies from higher models have been sensibly combined with the familiar Planar 6 format.

Yamaha has introduced two new AV receivers, the RX500A and RX300A, designed to serve as modern hubs for home entertainment - from cinema and music to gaming. The manufacturer is clearly targeting users who want to build a system around conventional loudspeakers and an AV receiver, but also expect the convenience associated with modern TVs, consoles and streaming devices. The RX500A is a 7.2-channel design, while the RX300A is a 5.2-channel model, but both support Dolby Atmos, four HDMI inputs compatible with current video and gaming standards, Bluetooth Multipoint and automatic room correction. These are not AV receivers designed only for home cinema in the traditional sense, but rather versatile control units intended to bring films, series, sport, games and everyday music listening together in one relatively easy-to-use system.

Not so long ago, a headphone socket on a smartphone was taken for granted. Today, many users have to choose between wireless headphones, a basic USB-C adapter, or a more serious dongle DAC with its own converter and headphone output stage. Not everyone wants to move entirely to Bluetooth. Good wired headphones still make sense. They do not need charging, they introduce no wireless latency, they do not depend on codec support, and they can often deliver better sound quality than wireless models at the same price. DALI introduced Vega, a wireless all-in-one audio system designed to combine the everyday convenience of a modern network speaker with the sonic ambitions of traditional hi-fi. The Danish manufacturer, best known for its loudspeakers, is clearly moving deeper into the category of products built for people who want serious sound without a complicated stack of components, separate speakers and visible cables running across the room. Vega follows that logic quite directly. It is a single, elegantly finished enclosure that can be placed on furniture or mounted on a wall, and then used as a complete music, TV and multiroom system. At the same time, DALI stresses that this is not simply a lifestyle speaker in the most basic sense of the term, but a project based on 43 years of loudspeaker engineering, in-house drive units, active crossover technology, Class D amplification and advanced DSP control.

Sennheiser has introduced the fifth generation of its most important consumer wireless headphones. The new Momentum 5 Wireless is not an attempt to rewrite the story from the beginning, but rather to refine a formula that has become one of the most recognizable reference points in the premium segment over the years. The manufacturer has kept what is essential to the series - large over-ear earcups, extensive wireless connectivity, a characteristic sound and very long battery life - while introducing changes to noise cancellation, sound personalization, codec support, sustainability, packaging and product longevity. The result is a headphone that should be not only more technically advanced, but also more convenient in everyday use and better prepared for several more years of service. Harman Kardon has refreshed one of the most recognizable products in its catalog. The SoundSticks 5 Wi-Fi is a new version of the transparent speaker system that, for many years, was associated mainly with computers, desktops and its distinctive, almost sculptural form. This time, however, the emphasis shifts clearly toward a modern wireless system for everyday music listening. The transparent subwoofer and slim satellite speakers remain, but they are now joined by Wi-Fi connectivity, support for popular streaming platforms, Bluetooth 6.0, app-based control and lighting effects that react to the music. The SoundSticks 5 Wi-Fi is therefore not just another variation of a familiar design. It is an attempt to adapt this idea to the way music is used at home today - without signal cables, without a traditional source and, in most cases, without the need to connect anything apart from power.

Indiana Line is expanding its Lira series, the highest loudspeaker line in its catalog, with three new models designed to make both stereo and home cinema systems easier to configure. The new additions are the compact Lira 2 standmount speaker, the slim Lira 5 floorstander and the Lira 7 center channel speaker. Together, they extend the range not only in terms of size and application, but also by allowing users to build a complete system based on the same design principles and a consistent sonic character. In practice, this means the Lira series can now be used for a smaller listening-room setup, a more discreet stereo system or a full multichannel installation in which the front and surround channels follow the same engineering philosophy.

Moon is expanding its Compass Collection with two new components that clearly move the series closer to technologies previously associated with the brand's higher-end reference designs. After the 371, a complete streaming amplifier, the company is now introducing a classic two-box system made up of the 491 network player and preamplifier, and the 461 power amplifier. It is an interesting move, because the Compass Collection was originally positioned as a more accessible, compact and practical answer to the flagship North Collection, but it is now becoming clear that the idea is not simply to simplify the range. The new components are designed to bring some of Moon's more advanced technologies into a more traditional two-unit system, where one device handles sources, digital-to-analog conversion, volume control, vinyl playback and headphones, while the other takes care of driving the loudspeakers.

JBL is expanding its Live series with two new wireless headphone models - the Live 680 NC and Live 780 NC. Both belong to the Live 4 generation and have been designed for users who now expect everyday headphones to offer more than decent sound and comfort. Effective noise cancelling, long battery life, extensive personalization and the ability to handle several usage scenarios at once have become just as important. The new models open another chapter for a series that sits in JBL's catalog between simpler everyday headphones and more advanced designs focused on comfort, functionality and greater freedom to adapt the listening experience to individual needs. The higher model mainly adds a larger over-ear design, bigger ear cushions, a more advanced noise-cancelling system and the additional Low Volume Dynamic EQ and Personal Sound Amplification features. The common platform remains the same - 40-mm drivers, Hi-Res Audio, JBL Spatial Sound, Personi-Fi 3.0, Bluetooth 6.0, LE Audio, Auracast, multipoint connection, quick charging and very long battery life.
