The Return of Jamo

Jamo, one of the most recognizable names in European loudspeaker design, is preparing a return to the international audio market under new ownership and with a renewed development structure that brings engineering activity back to Denmark. The relaunch marks the beginning of a new phase for the Danish brand, combining continuity with its Scandinavian heritage and a broader strategy aimed at both traditional hi-fi systems and modern lifestyle audio solutions. The first products created under the new structure are scheduled to be presented at the Vienna High End Show, offering the first public glimpse of Jamo's direction after its restructuring.

Kanto Audio Yu4, Yu6, Tuk & Tuk Grand

Kanto Audio has introduced a redesigned generation of its speaker lineup, led by the new Tuk Grand flagship and accompanied by updated versions of the company's Yu4, Yu6, and Tuk models. The refreshed range represents a broader acoustic and industrial design revision across both powered and passive variants. Originally launched in 2014, the Yu series helped establish Kanto Audio's reputation for compact, accessible loudspeakers combining integrated amplification with modern connectivity. The Tuk followed in 2019 as a more performance-oriented model positioned closer to the hi-fi segment. With the introduction of the Tuk Grand and the redesign of the existing families, the company is now extending that concept with larger enclosures, revised driver integration, updated electronics, and a new visual direction intended to align more closely with contemporary interiors.

Denon AVR-S980H

Denon unveiled the AVR-S980H, a new 7.2-channel AV receiver designed as a central hub for contemporary home entertainment systems combining surround sound, streaming, and gaming functionality in a single chassis. Positioned as a step-up solution for users moving beyond soundbars and entry-level audio setups, the new model is intended to deliver a more immersive listening experience while remaining approachable in everyday installation and operation. According to Denon, the receiver reflects a broader shift toward flexible systems that adapt to modern households where television viewing, music streaming, and gaming increasingly share the same platform.

SVS 3000 Micro R|Evolution

SVS has expanded its compact subwoofer lineup with the introduction of the SVS 3000 Micro R|Evolution, a new sealed-cabinet model designed to deliver reference-grade low-frequency performance from an enclosure measuring just 11 inches across. Positioned as a successor to the earlier 3000 Micro, the new version brings updated drivers, a more powerful amplifier platform, and significantly increased DSP capability while maintaining the lifestyle-friendly form factor that made the original model popular in space-constrained listening rooms.

Vincent SA-32 AE

Vincent has introduced the SA-32 AE, a limited-production anniversary version of its hybrid stereo preamplifier created to mark 30 years of the company's Powerline series. Restricted to just 200 units worldwide, the new model builds on the long-running architecture that began with the SA-31 in 1996 and continued through later revisions culminating in the SA-32 released in 2017. The anniversary edition preserves the familiar hybrid tube-and-solid-state concept while expanding connectivity and revising key sections of the internal circuitry.

Advance Paris Nova A-i130 & A-i190

Advance Paris has introduced the Nova series, a new flagship platform of hybrid integrated amplifiers designed to function as complete control centers for modern stereo systems while preserving the company's established tube-assisted analog architecture. Positioned above the Classic and Apex ranges in the manufacturer's lineup, the Nova platform represents Advance Paris's most ambitious integrated amplifier concept to date. The series includes two amplifiers - the A-i130 and A-i190 - together with optional streaming and Bluetooth expansion modules and a dedicated rotary remote controller. First previewed at High End Munich 2025, the lineup is scheduled to make its North American debut at AXPONA 2026, with global availability expected from May 2026.

Schiit Eitr 2

Schiit Audio has introduced the Eitr 2, a compact digital-to-digital converter designed to improve signal integrity when using computers, tablets, or smartphones as audio sources in high-performance playback systems. Building on the concept of the original Eitr released in 2017, the new version expands connectivity with AES/EBU output, introduces support for the company's Forkbeard control platform, and replaces the earlier USB interface with Schiit's proprietary Unison USB architecture. Rather than acting as a conventional converter, the Eitr 2 operates as a signal-conditioning stage between a USB source and an external DAC. Incoming USB audio is reclocked and regenerated before being transmitted through transformer-isolated AES/EBU and coaxial outputs or via optical TOSLINK, with support for PCM signals up to 24-bit/192 kHz. The inclusion of a balanced AES interface is particularly notable at this price level, as it is typically reserved for professional or higher-end consumer equipment.

Musical Fidelity M6xi

Musical Fidelity has introduced the M6xi, a new integrated amplifier that updates one of the company's longest-running high-power platforms with expanded digital connectivity and broader system-integration capabilities while preserving the core analog architecture that defined the earlier M6si. Rather than replacing the established concept behind the M6 series, the new model represents part of Musical Fidelity's wider "xi" generation refresh, which brings HDMI ARC, USB-C audio connectivity, and improved installation flexibility across several amplifier lines including the M2, M3, and M5 models.

Avid Velsonic

Avid HiFi has introduced the Velsonic, a new reference-level phono preamplifier positioned as the flagship of the company's analog electronics lineup and its first completely new phono stage platform since 2012. Developed and manufactured at Avid's Cambridgeshire facility, the Velsonic replaces both the Pulsare II and Pellere models while carrying forward circuit concepts derived from the company's Reference Pre-Amplifier, signaling a broader refresh of its upper-tier analog architecture. Rather than pursuing a hybrid or digitally assisted topology, the Velsonic follows a strictly analog design philosophy built around a fully dual-mono signal path from input to output. Separate channel layouts are intended to maximize channel separation and reduce crosstalk, while the absence of digital control circuitry reflects Avid's long-standing preference for preserving signal purity in low-level phono applications. According to the manufacturer, particular attention has been paid to minimizing noise throughout the gain structure, an area especially critical in high-resolution MC cartridge systems.

Klipsch ProMedia Lumina

Klipsch has introduced the ProMedia Lumina, a new 2.1-channel desktop speaker system that updates one of the company's longest-running multimedia audio platforms with revised acoustics, expanded connectivity, and integrated lighting control. Positioned as the successor to earlier ProMedia configurations first introduced in 1999, the Lumina version adapts the concept for contemporary desktop environments used for gaming, content creation, remote work, and everyday listening. The original ProMedia series established a distinctive position in the compact speaker category by incorporating horn-loaded high-frequency drivers, a feature rarely found in desktop audio systems. The new ProMedia Lumina continues this approach with updated MicroTractrix horn technology, now implemented in a wider geometry intended to improve dispersion and maintain clarity in nearfield listening conditions. Each satellite speaker uses a two-way configuration with a 3-inch midrange driver designed to support dynamic output and intelligibility across mixed-use scenarios ranging from voice communication to music playback and gaming.
