Denon AVR-X2900H DAB & AVC-X3900H

Denon has introduced a new generation of X Series AV receivers, unveiling two models aimed at users who want to move clearly beyond entry-level home cinema. The AVR-X2900H DAB and AVC-X3900H are intended for systems where power, control, configuration flexibility and room correction matter more than simply adding surround sound to a living room. They also make sense for installers working on more complex home cinema and multiroom projects. That distinction is important, as Denon recently presented the AVR-S980H as a more accessible gateway into modern home theater, while the new X Series models sit higher in the range as more refined, scalable and configurable solutions, designed to be matched more precisely to the room, the loudspeakers and the listener's expectations.

Marantz AV 30 & AMP 30

Marantz is expanding its portfolio of reference class home theatre components with two new models aimed at demanding users who build their systems around separate AV electronics. The AV 30 is an 11.4 channel AV preamplifier and the AMP 30 is a 6 channel power amplifier that can be tailored to a wide variety of loudspeaker layouts, from compact media rooms to substantial dedicated home theatres. The new units slot in beneath the flagship AV 10/AMP 10 and AV 20/AMP 20 combinations and support a modular approach in which customers can grow their systems over time without abandoning existing components. As with the higher tier models, all key elements of the audio path have been tuned by the Marantz Sound Master and both products are designed and manufactured at the Shirakawa Audio Works facility in Japan.

NAD C3050

NAD Electronics launched the C3050 stereophonic amplifier. The unit draws upon aesthetic cues from the 1970's while boasting class-leading amplification - a HybridDigital UcD output stage and high-performance Texas Instruments PCM5242 differential DAC work together to deliver wonderful detail, immersive three-dimensionality, and thrilling dynamics. The C3050 also features NAD's MDC2 future proofing technology. By installing an optional module into the MDC2 expansion slot on the rear panel, listeners can add exciting new capabilities like BluOS high-resolution multi-room streaming and Dirac Live room correction.
