Melodika MDUAC
The latest cable from the Polish brand Melodika is now available for sale. The high-quality USB cable enables a secure and reliable connection between two devices equipped with USB A and USB C sockets. By replacing the factory-supplied cable of your audio equipment, such as a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with the Melodika MDUAC cable, you can easily and quickly improve the quality of the transmitted signal. Correct impedance results in low jitter, eliminates timing faults, and distortions in digital signal that might otherwise have occurred.
The symmetrical USB-C connector allows stable and convenient connection of peripheral devices, such as DACs, medical devices, printers, wireless headphones, mobile phones, microphones or sound cards. Melodika MDUAC supports Quick Charge technology. The heavy-duty purple outer PVC insulation, which is UV-resistant, alcohol-resistant and has excellent impact strength at both room and low temperatures, makes the MDUAC cable suitable for use in installations as well.
The Melodika Purple Rain MDUAC cable was designed to transmit digital sound in the best possible quality. The MDUAC is built with two pairs of twisted wires (4x 0.2mm2), one for data transmission and the other for power. The data transmission line is separated and has its own shielding, which minimizes external interference. This way, power is isolated from signal conductors, allowing for a clean and natural sound.
Triple shielding, consisting of two Mylar foil layers and a tin-plated copper braid, reduces electrical noise and electromagnetic interference (EMI) and prevents crosstalk between neighbouring wires. 24K gold-plated connectors reduce losses at the plug-socket connection. The Melodika cable is precisely soldered to the plugs using the highest-quality silver-copper solder. Since the Melodika MDUAC USB cable is made with the utmost care, ensuring durability and safety even in case of intensive usage, like all Melodika cables also the MDUAC comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
The Melodika USB cable is marked with the MDUAC symbol, where "U" stands for USB, and AC indicates the type of connectors used in this cable (USB-A/USB-C). The numbers following this symbol indicate the cable length, so a 2.5m cable will have the symbol MDUAC25, and a 7m cable will have the symbol MDUAC70. The Melodika Purple Rain MDUAC is available in lengths ranging from 0.3 to 7 meters (MDUAC03 - MDUAC70), with prices depending on the length. A 1m long version, MDUAC10, is priced at €48.
