Audio Physic Avanti 35, Tempo 35 & Step 35
Audio Physic, the German loudspeaker manufacturer, celebrates its 35th birthday and gives three legendary loudspeakers a terrific upgrade. Avanti 35, Tempo 35, and Step 35 have been entirely technically redesigned.
Thirty-five years of Audio Physic, decades of pioneering work in the research and application of new materials and structures in loudspeaker development. To mark the anniversary, Audio Physic is reissuing the classics Avanti, Tempo, and Step and is launching the Avanti 35, Tempo 35, and Step 35 in the summer of 2020 - with a completely new inner life. "Since our foundation in 1985, we have been driven by one thought: Nothing, but Music. We want to build loudspeakers you can't hear, which disappear in the music. Bringing music to life, making every detail physically tangible." - explains managing director, Wolfgang Lücke.
The new Avanti sets standards in design and craft, but above all in music reproduction. A new woofer, invisibly realized as a bass insert, in combination with a new crossover, raises the bass reproduction to a new level. The mid-range chamber has also been revised and now features the Audio Physic honeycomb construction. The overall sound of the new Avanti 35 is more powerful than ever without losing the typical "Audio Physic" DNA. The Avanti 35 is now available with glass surfaces, wooden surfaces will follow in late summer 2020 with prices starting from £6,066.
By customer request, Tempo now has a new magnet front cover made of fabric. Its inner life: HHCM III midrange driver, new crossovers, and a VCT III connector terminal. The new features give the Tempo 35 an unprecedented sovereignty and perfection. The Tempo 35 will be available from late summer 2020 in high-gloss black and white and walnut and ebony with prices starting from £5,131.
The smallest of the anniversary loudspeakers not only looks stylish, it knows how to make itself heard. Equipped with HHCM III woofers and mid-range drivers, new crossovers, and VCT III connection terminal, it shines above all with a very sovereign bass. The Step 35 will be available from late summer 2020 in high-gloss black and white and walnut and ebony with prices starting from £2,141. Info and photos by Audio Physic.
