Monitor Audio Bronze 7G
Monitor Audio has unveiled the Bronze Series 7G, a complete reimagining of the brand's long-running and award-winning entry-level range. The new generation builds upon over two decades of heritage, fusing British engineering precision with a modern design ethos to create loudspeakers that redefine the standard for accessible high-fidelity. Handmade with care and developed under Monitor Audio's Transparent Design Philosophy, the Bronze 7G range represents both a sonic and aesthetic evolution, designed to deliver an immersive experience for music and film lovers alike.
The line-up consists of five models - the Bronze 50 bookshelf, Bronze 300 floorstander, Bronze Centre, Bronze AMS Dolby Atmos-enabled speaker, and, for the first time, a dedicated Bronze On-Wall - each sharing a consistent technology platform based on Monitor Audio's proprietary C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium) drivers. Across the series, a new 6-inch C-CAM bass and bass-mid driver complements the latest C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter, ensuring seamless tonal balance and lifelike clarity throughout the frequency spectrum. The tweeter, an evolution of a technology that has been a Monitor Audio hallmark since 1982, delivers crisp, detailed high frequencies with exceptional realism, while the larger voice coil and improved magnet assembly in the bass units reduce distortion and enhance sensitivity for a dynamic, natural midrange.
Every aspect of the Bronze 7G has been refined through extensive listening tests and precision engineering. The crossovers employ high-grade components to maintain phase integrity and signal purity, contributing to the series' balanced and transparent character. The cabinets, meanwhile, have undergone a significant transformation. Constructed with real-wood and plywood front baffles - a rarity in this price category - they offer both rigidity and acoustic stability. Monitor Audio's through-bolt technology secures the internal structure, minimising visible fixings and eliminating unwanted resonance. The result is a cabinet that looks refined and sounds authoritative.
The finish options include Satin Black, Satin White, and a lustrous Walnut veneer, paired with matching satin-painted baffles to create a bold yet timeless look. Beneath their clean lines lies the same obsessive attention to engineering that defines Monitor Audio's higher-end models, ensuring that form and function exist in perfect balance. This harmony is at the heart of the Transparent Design Philosophy, where design and technology complement each other to achieve neutrality and aesthetic longevity. In multi-channel and stereo setups, Bronze 7G demonstrates its versatility. The range is engineered to pair seamlessly with Monitor Audio's new Vestra subwoofers - available in 15-inch, 12-inch and 10-inch versions - ensuring cohesive integration across music and home cinema applications. Together, they deliver a unified soundstage characterised by precision, depth and emotional engagement.
