Cyrus PSU-XR

Internationally acclaimed, high-end audio brand Cyrus Audio announces the most intelligent power supply it has ever designed; the long-awaited PSU-XR. The PSU-XR is the first power supply from Cyrus to have its own built-in microprocessor, enabling it to talk to the product it is connected to, providing the best configuration of power sources demanded by the host product. "The PSU-XR is our best performing power supply, capable of providing up to 60% more power than the award-winning PSX-R2 and, due to its revolutionary design, is up to 50% more efficient." - says Ceri Williamson, Head of R&D at Cyrus Audio.

Cyrus Hark III

Cyrus is delighted to announce a new rack system, the Hark III, designed for their new XR Series of uncompromising components (amplifiers, preamps, CD players, and more). The Hark III allows audiophiles to proudly display their coveted collection of Cyrus hi-fi gear in an elegant vertical column with built-in cable management. The Hark III features fully adjustable shelf heights, allowing multiple product configurations. Hark III is shipped complete with four shelving units but is able to accommodate up to 8 shelves per rack (additional pairs of shelves are available separately).

Cyrus ONElinear

Cyrus announced the ONElinear - a premium loudspeaker system, which, whilst designed to perfectly augment the Cyrus One amplifier system, provides exemplary performance with a whole host of audio systems.

Peter Bartlett - Cyrus

Some audiophiles claim that one of the fundamental principles when selecting hi-fi equipment is simple - if you are going to buy a speaker, amplifiers or cable, check out how big is the factory where it's built - the bigger it is, the better the equipment. I honestly don't know where this comes from, because Bentley has a much smaller plant than Toyota or Nissan, but I would rather drive a Continental GT instead of an Auris or Juke. Smaller, highly specialized factories are able to chase or even outrun big corporations. Some say this may happen with speakers or tube amplifiers - stuff that doesn't need innovative thinking, but when it comes to streamers or digital amplifiers, large manufacturers will always be ahead. But is that necessarily the case?
